Our client is a long standing, independent employer offering excellent working environment and benefits. Due to business growth we are currently seeking a PCB Assembly Technician to join the highly skilled electronics manufacturing team.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Assemble PCBs in line with company standards and specifications
- Perform soldering and component placement accurately
- Identify component shortages and raise stock requisitions
- Monitor stock levels and support production scheduling
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure right-first-time quality
- Diagnose and rectify faults as required
- Maintain accurate production and stock records
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and organised
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhere to ESD procedures and rules
Skills and experience sought:
- IPC certification (advantageous)
- Previous experience in an Electronics Manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of PCB assembly processes
- Lean 5s
- PCB soldering skills (through-hole and/or surface mount)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow technical instructions and drawings
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic understanding of electronic components
