Our client is a long standing, independent employer offering excellent benefits and flexible working conditions. We are currently seeking a Customer Services Office Administrator to join the Customer Service Team. Ideal candidates will have some previous experience within a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time role offering flexible working including hybrid/remote options.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Sales - To create Sales Orders, ensuring customer details are correct in line with PO requirements.
- To create part records for new part requirements, including necessary BOMs.
- To acknowledge Sales Orders within a timely manner.
- To create Works Orders for manufactured parts.
- To respond to customer requests promptly.
Deliveries - To liaise internally, and with customers to arrange delivery of Sales Orders.
- To arrange necessary transportation, identifying where there may be special customer requirements.
- To generate dispatch notes.
- To ensure that the consignment complies with H&S and environmental requirements (e.g. ADR, DGNs, export docs, etc.).
- To supply copy manuals, drawings, test, and other relevant documentation promptly following dispatch.
- To respond to customer requests regarding deliveries.
Purchasing - Basic purchasing support to cover absences, including:
- Raising purchase orders.
- Daily purchasing tasks.
- General Office admin tasks.
Others - To maintain records of changing customer requirements.
- To adhere to quality procedures at all times.
- To adhere to H&S requirements at all times.
- To undertake other reasonable tasks as requested.
- To maintain a safe & tidy working area and comply with all H&S, environmental and legal requirements.
Skills and experience sought:
- We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate with good attention to detail.
- Previous administration experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment, would be beneficial.
- Experience in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in MRP/ERP systems would also be beneficial.
