Maintenance Manager Location: South Wales

Our Client Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, inspection and safe operation of a diverse range of facilities and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive maintenance professional who enjoys combining practical, hands-on work with management responsibilities in a fast-paced and highly rewarding environment.
This is very much a hands-on role, with a significant proportion of time spent working directly with equipment, carrying out maintenance tasks and working at heights, alongside managing the wider maintenance operation.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring all facilities and equipment remain safe, operational and maintained to the highest standards, whilst helping to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
About the Role Overseeing and carrying out hands-on maintenance activities across the site.
Managing inspection and maintenance programmes for facilities, equipment and PPE.
Physically inspecting, maintaining and repairing equipment as required, including working at heights.
Ensuring all maintenance records and compliance documentation are accurately maintained.
Conducting risk assessments and implementing safe systems of work.
Leading, supporting and developing maintenance team members through coaching and effective management.
Managing contractors and third-party inspectors on site.
Driving a strong health and safety culture throughout the business.
Monitoring maintenance budgets and identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
Supporting wider site operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements The right candidate will have:
Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Facilities Manager or similar hands-on leadership role.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience managing planned preventative maintenance programmes.
Excellent people management and communication skills.
