Looking to recruit a Refrigerant Operator for their operation facility in Swansea. The purpose of this role is to ensure correct, safe, and compliant processing of refrigerant cylinders, including valve removal, piercing, gas evacuation, and preparation for waste or customer dispatch.
Working days: Monday - Friday
Working hours: 40 per week
Salary: Β£27,040
Benefits: For eligible employees after 3-month service.
- 6% Company pension contribution
- Life assurance / death in service benefit of 3 times basic salary

- 25 days holiday + statutory bank holiday entitlement (3 days must be taken between Xmas and New Year)

Key responsibilities:
- Operate hydraulic de-valving and piercing machinery.
- Evacuate refrigerant gas using the Haskel pump system.
- Perform pre-use equipment checks and report defects.
- Scan processed cylinders for tracking.
- Manual handling of cylinders up to 56kg.
- Wrap, palletise, and move cylinders safely.
- Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental requirements.
- Future activities will also include the filling of refrigerant gas cylinders and operation of the reclaim rig.
