Maintenance Team Leader/Supervisor in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales

Maintenance Team Leader (Maintenance Manager) Location : South Wales Salary : £45,000 per annum Job Type : Full Time | Permanent Our client Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to oversee the maintenance, inspection and safe operation of a diverse range facilities and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine practical maintenance expertise with team leadership in a fast-paced and highly rewarding environment. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring all facilities remain safe, operational and maintained to the highest standards whilst helping to deliver an exceptional customer experience. About the Role Leading all maintenance activities across the site. Managing inspection and maintenance programmes for facilities, equipment and PPE. Ensuring all maintenance records and compliance documentation are accurately maintained. Conducting risk assessments and implementing safe systems of work. Supporting and developing maintenance team members through coaching and leadership. Managing contractors and third-party inspectors on site. Monitoring maintenance budgets and identifying opportunities for efficiencies. Supporting wider site operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Previous experience in a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, Facilities Manager or similar leadership role. Experience managing planned preventative maintenance programmes. Excellent people management and communication skills. Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, construction, facilities, utilities or similar environments would be advantageous.
