We are looking for a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join a busy production team in Llantrisant. Working within a fast-paced FMCG production environment, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The Role: As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment
  • Ensuring machinery runs efficiently and safely throughout the production process
  • Feeding raw materials into machinery as required
  • Monitoring production output and product quality
  • Carrying out regular quality checks and reporting any issues
  • Identifying and reporting machine faults or production problems
  • Making basic machine adjustments where required and within training
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
  • Completing production records and relevant paperwork accurately
  • Following company procedures, health & safety requirements, and quality standards
  • Working closely with colleagues, Team Leaders, and other departments to meet production targets
  • Supporting changeovers, cleaning, and basic equipment checks
  • Working to agreed production schedules and deadlines

About You: The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a machine operating, production, or manufacturing environment
  • Experience within FMCG would be advantageous
  • A good understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to product quality
  • The ability to work at pace while maintaining high standards
