We are looking for a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join a busy production team in Llantrisant. Working within a fast-paced FMCG production environment, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
The Role: As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment
- Ensuring machinery runs efficiently and safely throughout the production process
- Feeding raw materials into machinery as required
- Monitoring production output and product quality
- Carrying out regular quality checks and reporting any issues
- Identifying and reporting machine faults or production problems
- Making basic machine adjustments where required and within training
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
- Completing production records and relevant paperwork accurately
- Following company procedures, health & safety requirements, and quality standards
- Working closely with colleagues, Team Leaders, and other departments to meet production targets
- Supporting changeovers, cleaning, and basic equipment checks
- Working to agreed production schedules and deadlines
About You: The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a machine operating, production, or manufacturing environment
- Experience within FMCG would be advantageous
