Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Youth Engagement Officer to support the recruitment of young people onto the Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by engaging with young people, schools, community groups, and local organisations to create pathways into education, training, and employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and recruit learners onto the JGW+ programme.
- Build relationships with schools, community organisations, and local networks.
- Promote training and employment opportunities through outreach and engagement activities.
- Generate learner referrals through networking, marketing, and community engagement.
- Develop and maintain partnerships to create opportunities for learners.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth learner journey.
Requirements
- Essential Experience working with young people or a genuine passion for supporting them.
- Strong knowledge of local communities and networks.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check and EWC registration.
Desirable
- Experience within post-16 education, training, employability, or youth-based organisations.
