Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Youth Engagement Officer to support the recruitment of young people onto the Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by engaging with young people, schools, community groups, and local organisations to create pathways into education, training, and employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and recruit learners onto the JGW+ programme.
  • Build relationships with schools, community organisations, and local networks.
  • Promote training and employment opportunities through outreach and engagement activities.
  • Generate learner referrals through networking, marketing, and community engagement.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships to create opportunities for learners.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth learner journey.

Requirements

  • Essential Experience working with young people or a genuine passion for supporting them.
  • Strong knowledge of local communities and networks.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check and EWC registration.

Desirable

  • Experience within post-16 education, training, employability, or youth-based organisations.
