We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children & Young People Qualified Assessor to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of children and young people, utilizing your expertise in mental health, behavioral therapy, and developmental support. Your energetic approach will help identify individual needs, develop tailored intervention plans, and support positive outcomes for our young clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families through innovative assessment techniques and compassionate care.
Duties
- Ensure the highest training standards by adapting to learner needs.
- Cover a regional area and travel to learners' workplaces for assessments.
- Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalised learning pathways.
- Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets.
- Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed.
- Keep detailed records of clients' achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies.
Essential
- Relevant training experience and a recognised teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., A1 Assessor Award, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent).
- Experience in an apprenticeship setting.
- Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Health and Social Care delivery.
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
- Welsh speaking is desirable.
