The Role
We are looking for a versatile multi-skilled engineer to support both electrical and mechanical maintenance across our clients site. As a multi-skilled engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining plant reliability through planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responding to breakdowns, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance safely
- Respond to breakdowns and diagnose faults quickly
- Work across PLCs, motors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors
- Complete PPM tasks and maintain accurate records
- Support installation and commissioning of equipment
- Drive reliability improvements and reduce downtime
Skills required:
- Time-served Electrical or Mechanical Apprentice (multi-skilled preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings
- Proactive, team-oriented, and safety-focused
