It is an exciting time to join us at Redmayne Bentley. After recently celebrating our 150th year in business, we are embarking on the next stage of our firm-wide strategy to build, improve and develop upon our strong, historic foundations. We are looking for a strong technical specialist to join us and share their expert indirect tax knowledge and manage our VAT reporting and compliance across the firm.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be actively involved in reviewing and optimising our VAT processes as well as contributing to firm wide projects as a subject matter expert. This is a role where someone with experience and a great team ethic can thrive and make a noticeable impact to our aims and mission. What We Are Looking For
- Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge
- Solid experience in VAT compliance, reporting, or advisory within a regulated or complex environment.
- Good technical understanding of VAT principles, rules, and processes.
- Holds, or is actively working towards, a relevant professional qualification in tax or accounting (e.g. CTA, ACA, ACCA).
- Prior successful experience using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) for financial processes.
- Desirable
- Degree in finance, tax, accounting, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior work experience within Financial Services in a similar role.
