This exciting opportunity within our Financial Planning team offers a chance to be directly involved in helping us deliver our award-winning client-centred service. You would be providing valuable administrative support to our Paraplanners and Financial Planners, ensuring that they have accurate and thorough client records as well as the timely information they need for any client meetings. This will involve checking client records on multiple bespoke systems as well as preparing and distributing reports and client documentation. You will also support the team to onboard new clients and handle any incoming communications from various stakeholders. Once you have settled in and completed the required training, you will take on more client-facing duties, handling a wider variety of queries and requests for information.
What weโre looking for
- Qualifications & Experience
- Essential: English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at grades 4/C or above
- Desirable: A-Levels or equivalent qualifications in relevant subjects (e.g. Business, Economics). Any prior office or administrative experience.
- Essential: Confident user of Microsoft Office Applications (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Proactive willingness to learn new processes and systems.
- Full commitment to keeping on top of workload and studies.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and proven accuracy skills.
What does the future look like?
Once you are settled into the role, you will begin to take on more responsibility within the team, including taking on more complex client queries and administrative tasks. Redmayne Bentley provides support for colleagues to achieve industry standard Investments and Financial Planning qualifications, if that is something they wish to do. During your apprenticeship you would be provided with a wide understanding of our industry, FCA regulations and how our firm operates, setting you up to progress towards formal qualifications in the future. Whilst we do not guarantee a permanent role at the end of any apprenticeship, Redmayne Bentley has a long history of colleagues who have started with us as apprentices and moved on to many successful roles and careers within the firm.
