Our Finance team is looking for a Procurement Manager to lead the development and implementation of a consistent, scalable procurement approach across Redmayne Bentley.
This is a newly created role within our Finance department, responsible for strengthening supplier governance, improving value for money, and ensuring effective oversight of sourcing, contracting, supplier performance and renewals across the firm.
You will work closely with colleagues across Finance, Risk, IT Security and operational teams, acting as a trusted colleague to support procurement decisions while balancing commercial, service, regulatory and information security considerations.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Lead sourcing, tender and supplier selection activities.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, service levels and contractual arrangements.
- Maintain the firm's contract register and renewal pipeline.
- Implement supplier performance management and review processes.
- Coordinate supplier due diligence, onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
- Strengthen procurement controls, approvals and documentation standards.
- Support visibility of third‑party spend, cost savings and value‑for‑money opportunities.
- Develop and embed procurement policies, processes and practical guidance.
- Work closely with Risk, Compliance, IT Security and operational teams to support effective supplier governance.
- Produce procurement reporting covering key contracts, renewals, supplier performance and savings opportunities.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across the firm and act as a trusted adviser on procurement matters.
Experience & Knowledge
Demonstrable experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management or contract management.
Strong commercial negotiation skills, with experience of agreeing pricing, service levels and contractual terms.
Experience of managing supplier performance, contract renewals and procurement governance processes.
Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and balance commercial, operational, risk and regulatory considerations.
Relevant professional procurement qualification desirable but not essential.
