It is an exciting time to join Redmayne Bentley. As we celebrate our 150th year in business, we are embarking on the next stage of our firm‑wide strategy—building on our strong historic foundations while driving innovation and growth for the future.
Our Finance team is at the heart of this journey, playing a pivotal role in shaping and supporting the firm’s success. We are now seeking a regulatory specialist to bring their expertise, insight, and energy to this dynamic team.
In this role, you will be working directly with our Head of Finance on a remit to strengthen our regulatory reporting framework and anticipate upcoming developments. We are looking for someone who has prior exposure to this work and has the ambition to specialise in this area.
This role has no managerial responsibilities; we want someone who lives and breathes this area of Finance and cares about maintaining the highest standards of rigour and integrity. Within our close‑knit firm, you will not be a small cog in a much larger wheel – you will have the ability and support to take a major role in this business‑critical area and make a visible impact firm‑wide with your efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- ICARA Process Support: actively contribute to the firm’s ICARA (Internal Capital Adequacy and Risk Assessment) process, including comprehensive K‑Factor modelling, support documentation, and ongoing refinement.
- Regulatory Reporting: Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting all FSA regulatory returns in compliance with applicable standards and deadlines. This includes Client Money and Asset Returns (CMAR), monthly Consumer Duty MI and reporting, as well as sustainability disclosure requirements.
- Regulatory Horizon Scanning: Monitor and evaluate upcoming regulatory developments, assessing their potential impact on capital adequacy, liquidity and firm operations.
- Regulatory Interpretation: Analyse and interpret regulatory requirements, translating them into actionable insights and ensuring compliance across the business.
- Gap Analysis: Deliver detailed “line by line” capital and finance gap analyses to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting with the Capital & Liquidity frameworks & policy updates: Support, maintain, and enhance the firm’s capital & Liquidity management policy, ensuring it remains robust, compliant, and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Supporting daily MI & Liquidity Reporting: Supporting daily Management Information (MI) reporting tasks, including liquidity reporting, by preparing, validating, and reconciling financial data to ensure accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
- Supporting Capital & Liquidity Disclosures & Audit: Assist with year‑end capital disclosures, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information provided to auditors, and manage audit queries effectively.
Further specific details about the role can be found in the job description attached to this advert.

- Experience of financial accounting within the financial services sector is desirable.
- Experience working as part of team and maintaining positive team culture.

- Strong communication and influencing abilities, with the flexibility to adapt style and build strong rapport across diverse stakeholders.
