My client has recently made a new opportunity available for a Principal Power Electronics Engineer to join their multi-skilled R&D team based in Tyne & Wear, North East England.

The successful candidate for the Tyne & Wear based Principal Power Electronics Engineer role will: Be degree educated in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
Have significant experience in the design and development of analogue power electronics.
Have proven experience designing SMPS, AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion systems.
Have experience working within the Rail, Energy, Transport or other highly regulated industrial sectors.
Be capable of providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers and driving complex power electronics projects from concept through to production.
