My client has recently made a new opportunity available for a Principal Power Electronics Engineer to join their multi-skilled R&D team based in Tyne & Wear, North East England.
This company develops high-performance permanent magnet electric motors and generators used across a variety of sectors, including Rail, Energy and Power.

The successful candidate for the Tyne & Wear based Principal Power Electronics Engineer role will:
- Be degree educated in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Have significant experience in the design and development of analogue power electronics.
- Have proven experience designing SMPS, AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion systems.
- Have experience working within the Rail, Energy, Transport or other highly regulated industrial sectors.
- Be capable of providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers and driving complex power electronics projects from concept through to production.
