Our client provides rugged power system designs and products for harsh environments, predominantly within aerospace and defence.
The successful applicant for this Senior / Lead Power Electronics Engineer job based in Hertfordshire will be responsible for:
- Power Electronics Design & Development: Lead the design and development of digital and analogue power supply modules.
- System
Requirements: Develop, capture, and review system-level power requirements.
- Magnetics
Design: Design power supply magnetics, including planar magnetics.
- Power
- Conversion
Expertise: Work across low and high power levels and frequency ranges, including isolated and non-isolated DC/DC and AC/DC conversion (topologies, components, control, and packaging).
To apply for this Hertfordshire-based Senior / Lead Power Electronics Engineer role you must have a combination of the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Power Electronics Engineer
- Strong background in power supply design (AC/DC, DC/DC converters)
