We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Project Manager (Automation) to join our customer on a long-term project based in Hertfordshire. Our customer is a well-established and growing provider of warehouse automation and systems integration solutions, delivering complex, high-value projects across logistics, manufacturing, and distribution environments. Due to continued growth and multiple project wins, they are seeking an experienced contractor to support the delivery of several large-scale automation programmes.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle delivery of automation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This will involve close collaboration with design, installation, commissioning, and client teams across multiple sites.
Key Skills / Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within automation, intralogistics, or material handling environments
- Strong background delivering projects involving technologies such as conveyors, ASRS, shuttle systems, AMRs, robotics
