Our client, who are a forward-thinking technology organisation undergoing a major transformation in software quality and delivery, are looking for a Software Test Automation Lead to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working environment and will play a key part in driving the adoption of automated testing across multiple product development teams. Key responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver a comprehensive test automation strategy, driving the transition from manual to automated testing.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using modern tools and best practices (including BDD).
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, working closely with DevOps teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of automation engineers, including performance management and training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed a 'shift-left' testing culture across the organisation.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts covering functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Execute and oversee all levels of testing including integration, system, regression, and acceptance testing.
