An FPGA Engineer position, based in Bristol has become available with a high-growth engineering company, transforming fibre-optic infrastructure into real-time sensing networks using Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) technology. My client is recognised in the Sunday Times Top 100 Growth Companies (2023) and has secured major international defence and infrastructure contracts and is scaling its engineering capability in Bristol. This is a rare opportunity to join a cutting-edge sensing technology business delivering high-performance FPGA systems into mission-critical environments.

As an FPGA Engineer, based in Bristol you will specialise in:

  • Proven experience with Xilinx RFSoC and/or Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems
  • Strong mathematical DSP fundamentals
  • VHDL design targeting Xilinx/AMD devices using Vivado
