An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer – Defence/Aerospace to join this Reading based Designer & Manufacturer of control panels, displays and fully integrated systems for various industries including Military, Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial.
The role of Project Engineer – Defence/Aerospace will be based in Reading and the ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering background.
The role will work closely with the Mechanical and Electronics engineers in planning, executing and managing a range of simple, medium and complex projects through to completion, within given timescales, managing milestones and budgets. This is a hands on role that would frequently require mechanical design work.
Requirements of a Project Engineer – Defence/Aerospace
A degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or designing electro mechanical systems

Working in a team and managing multiple projects at once

Preparing, planning and tracking projects

Identifying risks and implementing risk management strategies

Having an awareness of MTBF calculations and reliability prediction calculations

Experience of using AutoCAD inventor software or similar software
