My client has recently made a new opportunity available for a Power Electronics Design Engineer to join their multi-skilled R&D team based in London.

This is great opportunity to join a leading engineering organisation based in Southeast London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader within advanced fibre-optic and subsea cable manufacturing.

The successful candidate for the London based Power Electronics Design Engineer job will:

  • Be degree educated in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Have significant experience in the design and development of analogue power electronics.
  • Have proven experience designing SMPS, AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion systems.
  • Have experience working within the Rail, Energy, Transport or other highly regulated industrial sectors.
  • Be capable of providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers and driving complex power electronics projects from concept through to production.
