Are you an experienced Machine Shop Operative with strong CNC machining skills? We're working with a growing engineering and manufacturing business in Brackley looking to expand their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company where you'll play a key role in CNC machining, production, and continuous improvement, supporting both prototype development and full-scale manufacturing.
As a Machine Shop Operative, you'll be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines, ensuring high-quality components are produced efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up and operating 3-axis CNC machines, including offline programming for prototype and production work
- Carrying out routine maintenance in line with scheduled requirements
- Operating manual and digital saws, as well as drilling, tapping, and overhead routing equipment
- Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and providing feedback for Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
