RF/Microwave Design Engineer in Lincoln

An exciting opportunity at a leading RF and Microwave solutions provider has hit the market; our client is hiring for a Senior RF Microwave Engineer based in Lincoln.

The Senior RF Microwave Engineer will report directly to the Engineering Lead and play a key role in the design, development, and prototyping of advanced RF and Microwave components and sub‑systems.

Main responsibilities of the Senior RF Microwave Engineer, based in Lincoln:

• Design and manufacture multi‑chip modules using both ceramic and LCP QFN packaging
• Develop and build RF and Microwave components and sub‑systems covering UHF to 50GHz
• Work on a wide range of components including Power Amplifiers, Oscillators, Mixers, Limiters, Switches, and LNAs
• Design complex subsystems such as SatCom BUCs, RF over Fiber solutions, Switch Matrices, and FMCW radar systems
• Support defense‑related engineering projects
• Take a hands‑on, results‑driven approach while working both independently and within a team
• Manage projects from quotation through to production
• Mentor and support technical employees
• Ensure high standards in design documentation, technical reports, and communication

Requirements of the Senior RF Microwave Engineer, based in Lincoln:
