This role focuses on component-level fault finding, root cause analysis, and supporting compliance, testing, and continuous improvement activities across complex electronic assemblies.
What you will be doing as a Diagnostics Technician, in Great Yarmouth:
- Diagnose and fault-find electronic assemblies down to component level, including RF transmit/receive modules
- Perform analysis using test equipment such as spectrum analysers, network analysers, and power meters
- Support implementation of test setups and verification plans
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques to identify root cause of failures
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure
- Analyse failure trends to improve yield, reliability, and quality
- Support compliance, validation, and continuous improvement activities across diagnostics and production
The skills needed:
- HNC/HND or Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong experience in electronics diagnostics and PCB-level fault finding
- Proven ability to diagnose faults down to component level
- Experience working within quality, compliance, or regulated environments
