Overview
In this Finance Business Partner role, you will provide senior financial leadership to support strategic decisions and business performance in Hatfield. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to drive financial discipline, planning, and performance insights within an innovative organization. Your work will focus on management reporting, planning, and commercial analysis to enable informed decisions and value creation. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role with exposure to audits, controls, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Lead monthly management accounts, including analysis and commentary
- Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations and controls
- Oversee stock valuation, provisioning and variance investigations
- Support budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting with the Finance Manager
- Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital insights
- Support external audits, VAT returns, statutory reporting and regulatory submissions
- Maintain and improve financial controls and processes; provide cover for the Finance Manager when needed
Key requirements
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, finalist or QBE
- Significant experience in senior management accounting or strategic finance
- Experience in stock valuation, standard costing, provisioning and variance analysis
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to challenge and support senior stakeholders
