Strong understanding of:
- Electromagnetic motor design
- Motor control algorithm development
A background in:
- Electromagnetic FEA for motor design - Motor-CAD, FEMM, JMAG, or equivalent
- Experience optimising winding and magnetic circuit parameters
Experience with winding design:
- Conductor selection
- Turn count and fill factor optimisation
- Winding topology trade-offs
- Thermal parameters
