Our client, who are a global leader in high-performance interconnect solutions, are looking for a Business Development Manager - Interconnect in the Midlands to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is field-based across the Midlands, with regular travel to customer sites and occasional international travel. You will be responsible for driving new business growth and developing key customer relationships, working with a premium portfolio of connector and interconnect solutions across a variety of demanding industries.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow existing key accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities with OEM customers.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans to drive long-term revenue growth.
  • Build strong relationships with engineering, commercial, and project teams within customer organisations.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to promote high-value technical solutions.
  • Manage and convert a pipeline of new business opportunities using CRM tools.
