Are you a Software professional with a background in DSP and have exposure to developing 5G applications? A well-established R&D organisation who are also a market leader, are looking to rapidly expand their engineering team and as such are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their development team near Leicestershire.

As an Embedded Software Engineer you will have a background in Digital Signal Processing and a working knowledge of communications systems engineering. The successful candidate for the Embedded Software Engineer job will have a mixture of embedded/bare metal experience alongside an understanding of implementing communication signal processing algorithms such as DDCs, filters, FFTs.

Skills/Experience required for the Embedded Software Engineer job include:

  • Experience with programming through Linux
  • Cross compilers (C++ ARM cross-compiler GCC Version 4.3.3)
  • Experience of efficient implementation of communications DSP algorithms (such as FFT, filtering DDC etc.)
