My client, a market-leading UK-based company specialising in high-end consumer audio electronics, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Electronics Test Engineer to join their team based in Essex.
They are a respected British manufacturer of hi-fi audio equipment with a long heritage of engineering excellence. Products are designed and hand-assembled in England and exported worldwide, with a strong focus on precision, quality, and musical performance. Their team is passionate about creating well-crafted products that deliver a lifetime of enjoyment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional testing of board-level audio products, ensuring equipment is tested, calibrated, and certified in line with defined procedures
- High-quality rework of PCBs as required, including single-sided and multi layer PTH boards with through-hole and surface-mount components
- Reading and interpreting circuit schematics, with an understanding of analogue and digital circuits of moderate complexity
Key Requirements:
- Strong fault-finding and debugging experience, particularly with analogue circuits
- Ability to read and understand schematics and circuit diagrams
- Hands-on PCB testing and rework experience
- A proactive, βget in and get onβ attitude
