Our client, a leading independent Security Systems Integrator, is looking for a Bid Manager to join their team in Chilwell, Nottingham on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established security technology business, supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant and commercially compelling bids across high-security, public space, transport and infrastructure projects throughout the UK and Ireland.
Key responsibilities of the Bid Manager job in Chilwell, Nottingham:
- Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification through to submission and contract handover.
- Produce high-quality, compliant and persuasive bid and proposal content.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions.
- Manage bid plans, timelines, compliance requirements and governance processes across multiple opportunities.
- Support commercial strategy, pricing activities and continuous improvement of bid processes and content.
Experience required for the Bid Manager job in Chilwell, Nottingham:
- Strong and proven Bid Management experience
- Experience managing the full bid lifecycle from qualification through to submission.
- Strong proposal writing and content development skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and bid management tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent bids and work effectively to deadlines.
Desirable experience for the Bid Manager job in Chilwell, Nottingham:
- Knowledge of the electronic security, physical security or security systems integration sector.
- Sales and/or commercial training or experience.
- APMP accreditation or similar professional membership.
- Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience.
