A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager in East Sussex. My client is a global centre of excellence, specialising in the design and manufacture of electronic controllers, instrumentation, and drives.
The Operations Manager must have experience with PCBA and leading a manufacturing or production team.
The Operations Manager will provide strategic leadership across Production, Engineering, Test, Planning and Continuous Improvement functions, developing high-performing teams while driving a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. The role will be responsible for delivering operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost and people metrics, ensuring resources and capabilities are aligned to business objectives and customer demand. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will champion Lean Manufacturing principles, lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, optimise manufacturing performance through process improvement and technology investment, and support new product introduction while ensuring the operation remains efficient, scalable and capable of meeting both current and future business requirements.
