Our client is a highly respected engineering organisation specialising in the design and manufacture of advanced electronic systems. Operating from a modern facility in Great Yarmouth, they support complex product development and manufacturing, delivering high-quality solutions with a strong focus on engineering excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement.

This role focuses on component-level fault finding, root cause analysis, and supporting compliance, testing, and continuous improvement activities across complex electronic assemblies.

What you will be doing as a Diagnostics Technician, in Great Yarmouth:

  • Diagnose and fault-find electronic assemblies down to component level, including RF transmit/receive modules
  • Perform analysis using test equipment such as spectrum analysers, network analysers, and power meters
  • Support implementation of test setups and verification plans
  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques to identify root cause of failures
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure
  • Analyse failure trends to improve yield, reliability, and quality
  • Support compliance, validation, and continuous improvement activities across diagnostics and production

The skills needed:

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in electronics diagnostics and PCB-level fault finding
  • Proven ability to diagnose faults down to component level
  • Experience working within quality, compliance, or regulated environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach
