An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CAD Design Engineer based in Cambridgeshire to join one of the leading design and manufacturers of electronic test instruments and laboratory power supplies in Europe. Supplying to over fifty countries, my client is one of the largest distributors of test and measurement equipment in the UK representing many leading American, European and Japanese producers within the UK market.
Due to expansion, they require a CAD Design Engineer who will be involved in the design of 2D and 3D CAD layouts for electronic products, including schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs and assembly drawings as part of the design output documentation.
A successful candidate for this CAD Design Engineer role based in Cambridgeshire will need:
- Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering, CAD or equivalent
- Experience of PCB design/layout
- 3D CAD package, ideally E-CAD or CADSTAR
- Experience around Electro-Mechanical products
This Cambridgeshire based role is perfect for someone looking to join an exciting and forward-thinking company who have a large presence within their industry. My client can offer a hybrid working scheme with an early finish on Fridays.
