Redline Group are partnering with a well-established UK electronics manufacturer, supporting a broad customer base across high-reliability sectors including transport, industrial, and aerospace. Due to increasing workload and the need to maintain high standards across quality and turnaround times, they are now looking to bring in a Contract Test Technician to strengthen the team.
This contract will not accept candidates operating via a PSC, therefore you will be required to work via an Umbrella company. This is a fully on-site role, requiring attendance five days per week, with standard working hours of 08:30-16:30.
You will be working on returned units from the field, many of which are legacy systems, carrying out fault finding, testing, and supporting repair and quoting processes. The environment is hands-on and fast-paced, with a strong pipeline of ongoing work and clear potential for long-term engagement if successful.
Key skills required for the Contract Test Technician, Reading:- Fault finding and diagnosing issues on electronic units
- Bench testing and use of multimeters and standard test equipment
- Carrying out component or board-level repair where possible
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and test procedures
