We are seeking a talented engineering leader to manage and develop an Industrial Engineering team within a highly successful electromechanical manufacturing business. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will play a key role in driving productivity, improving manufacturing performance and supporting future growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of Industrial EngineersDrive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiativesImprove productivity, labour efficiency, quality and throughputDevelop labour standards, time studies and capacity planning modelsOptimise manufacturing processes, factory layouts and material flowSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) and Design for Manufacture (DFM)Monitor and improve KPIs including OEE, productivity and utilisationLead value stream mapping and process improvement projectsSupport automation, process optimisation and capital investment projectsCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality teamsAbout YouDegree qualified in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electromechanical EngineeringPrevious experience leading Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering teamsStrong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experienceExperience within low to medium volume, high-mix manufacturingStrong understanding of capacity planning, labour standards and production processesCAD experience, ideally SolidWorksExcellent analytical, project management and stakeholder management skillsExperience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing KPIsDesirableLean Six Sigma Green Belt or aboveExperience within electromechanical, automotive, robotics, automation or precision engineering sectorsKnowledge of Industry 4.0 and automation technologiesExperience delivering capital investment and productivity improvement projectsThis is an excellent opportunity for an Industrial Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager or Operational Excellence Manager to join a growing engineering organisation and make a significant impact on manufacturing performance and future business growth.
