An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Inspector, based in Portsmouth, to join a global leader specialising in high-tech electronic technologies. The Quality Control Inspector will ensure all components meet quality standards before leaving the manufacturing area, preventing errors within the process to deliver a quality product to the customer.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Carry out shopfloor inspections on product, ensuring customer specifications/industry standards are met i.e. AS9100, MIL Standard.
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures, validating product quality against internal & external standards.
- Use various measuring tools to make sure components/parts/products are within standard variances.
- Record inspection information and update quality database as required.
- Raise non-conformance paperwork.
- Share findings of inspections with quality and production management individuals.
