I am currently working an opportunity for a Quality Coordinator based in Kent.
This is a fantastic chance to join a leader within advanced fire detection and emergency lighting systems.
My client are seeking an organised and detail-focused Quality Coordinator to support the management, tracking and maintenance of product approvals, certification records and technical documentation for life-safety electronic systems.
This is a key coordination role within a regulated manufacturing environment, working closely with engineering, quality, product management and external certification bodies.
Key Responsibilities for this Quality Coordinator based in Kent
- Maintain registers and databases for product certificates, technical files, CE/UKCA documentation and third-party approvals.
- Track certificate expiry dates, standard updates, surveillance audits and re-certification requirements.
- Coordinate approval submissions for new and modified fire safety products, including panels, detectors, call points, sounders and sensors.
- Maintain strict version control of technical dossiers, user manuals, schematics, compliance evidence and Declaration of Performance documents.
- Liaise with external testing houses, notified bodies, certification authorities and component suppliers on approval status and documentation requirements.
Desirables for this Quality Coordinator based in Kent
- Experience in administration, document control, approvals coordination or compliance support, ideally within a regulated manufacturing, electronics, fire safety or security systems environment.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and confidence managing structured records, logs and technical documentation.
- Competent Microsoft Office user, particularly Excel, Word and Share Point; experience with ERP or PLM systems would be beneficial.
- An understanding of product standards such as EN 54, BS 5839, UL, FM, ISO 9001 or CE/UKCA documentation would be advantageous.
