The Redline Group are currently partnering with a well-established Engineering and Technology company based in the Bristol area, who are experiencing exceptional growth. They are looking to double their size over the next 12 months due to significant project wins that are due to start next year, and they are now looking to hire an experienced Project Engineer – Navigation Systems to join this highly dynamic team. The role involves meeting with customers to discuss technical and product requirements and bring those back to the engineering teams. You will sit centrally to these projects, liaise with Engineering Procurement manufacturing and the customer, and see out the project to completion. They are looking for some who appreciates and thrives in a dynamic collaborative environment that is comfortable in front of customers as well as working with cross functional teams. In addition to this you will need experience of the following for the Project Engineer – Navigation Systems role; Leading a technical team, from concept to commissioning Coordination of product test and qualification activities Supervision of the integration and test of systems with complex software and hardware Driving projects to be delivered to schedule, cost & quality Highlighting what skills, tools and facilities are needed to successfully deliver projects. Supporting the Hardware/Software/System Qualification tasks Flight products i.E. IMUs, INS, gyroscopes, accelerometers Avionics, control and communication systems Environmental and EMC test standards, SW DO-178C and HW DO-254 certification standards Due to the nature of the products and their customers, all applicants must be eligible for UK security clearances to apply for this Project Engineer – Navigation Systems role.
