A leading global manufacturer of inspection and detection equipment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers operating within the food, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the primary technical contact for customers throughout the UK, providing both on-site and remote support. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair sophisticated inspection equipment while ensuring customers receive an exceptional level of service. Key Responsibilities for this Field Service Engineer role Install, commission and validate new equipment at customer sites. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and system health checks. Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and control system faults. Provide remote and on-site technical support. Deliver operator and maintenance training to customers. Maintain accurate service reports and documentation. Support equipment demonstrations and factory acceptance testing. Assist customers in maximising equipment performance and uptime. Essentials for this Field Service Engineer role Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Several years of experience in field service, technical support or industrial equipment maintenance. Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, mechanical and control systems.
