Interim Head of Configuration Management in Pimlico

Salary: £19,000 - 69,800 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading a Configuration Management function in a complex engineering, defence, aerospace or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of configuration identification, change control, status accounting and configuration audits
• Experience managing Configuration Management teams and influencing senior stakeholders
• Demonstrable experience implementing and improving Configuration Management policies, processes and governance frameworks
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Experience with PLM, ERP and Configuration Management tools
• Must operate through an Umbrella company; candidates operating via a PSC are not accepted

Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the Configuration Management function
• Ensure robust control of product data, change management processes and configuration governance across multiple programmes
• Work closely with engineering, project management, quality, manufacturing and supply chain teams to maintain configuration integrity throughout the product lifecycle
• Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices
• Ensure compliance with industry and customer standards
