An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join this world leading manufacturer of Human Machine Interfaces, based in Newark.
Responsibilities:
- Develop prototypes to production
- Shape the product using experience and knowledge
- Interface with customers
- Participate in design reviews and stage gate process
- Design, develop and test electro-mechanical products
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding and experience with commonly used manufacturing processes including plastic injection-moulding and CNC milling
- Proficient user of SolidWorks
- Experience of interfacing with customers
- Experience with full design lifecycle including design reviews and the stage gate process or similar
- Confident in design, development and testing of electro-mechanical products
- Ideally have a Mechanical Engineering Degree
