Technical Manager - Hardware & Cloud (HaaS) Excellent opportunity for a Technical Manager - Hardware & Cloud (HaaS) to join an innovative technology business on a hybrid basis, with time spent at their Oxford site, owning the delivery pipeline for a Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS) platform. This role sits at the intersection of hardware and cloud and will require strong technical understanding of the trade-offs between hardware constraints, driver latency and cloud UI scalability. Key responsibilities for the Technical Manager - Hardware & Cloud (HaaS) role (hybrid and Oxford based): Manage the development lifecycle of a vertical stack covering RTL designs, drivers, SDK and customer-facing cloud console, including documentation targets Ensure the HaaS platform meets all product requirements Facilitate internally between hardware engineers and software developers Work externally with enterprise customers to support delivery and product requirements Key skills required for the Technical Manager - Hardware & Cloud (HaaS) role: Experience managing complex technology products or platforms Strong software development background with the ability to review code and technical specifications Proficiency in Python and C++ Strong understanding of the full technology stack, from hardware and drivers through to SDK, cloud backend and UI Ability to work effectively across hardware and software engineering teams Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with enterprise customers Comfortable managing technical trade-offs and product requirements This is an opportunity to take ownership of a technically complex Hardware-as-a-Service platform, working across hardware and software development while helping deliver a scalable customer-facing cloud solution.
