A Project Manager is sought to join an innovative engineering team in Bedford, Bedfordshire, taking ownership of the successful delivery of business-critical projects from inception through to customer acceptance. The Project Manager will manage projects across engineering, procurement, production and delivery, ensuring milestones, customer requirements and commercial objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage projects from order placement through to delivery and customer acceptance
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules and risk registers
  • Coordinate internal teams across Engineering, Procurement and Production
  • Manage customer communications, project reviews, meetings and actions
  • Ensure project documentation and customer requirements are delivered
  • Monitor project milestones, payments, invoicing and export compliance
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide regular project updates
  • Manage customer returns, upgrades, rework and warranty requirements where applicable

The Project Manager will have the following key skills:

  • Previous Project Management experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
  • PRINCE2, APM or Scrum Master qualifications would be advantageous
