A Group Senior Compliance Engineer is sought to join an innovative electronics engineering team in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, supporting product compliance and certification.

As the Group Senior Compliance Engineer, Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, you will be responsible for assessing electrical and electronic products against the latest European and US legislation, developing test plans, and supporting NRTL certification activities across the Group.

Responsibilities include: Assess electronic products against EN 61010-1 requirements.

Produce test plans based on the outcomes of EN 61010-1 assessments.

Compile Technical Construction Files (TCFs) for products requiring NRTL certification.

Liaise with NRTL certification bodies to support products through the certification process.

Assess electronic products against EN 61010-1 and EN 60601-1.

Assess internally used machinery against EN 60204-1 requirements.

Identify non-compliances and advise engineering teams on appropriate corrective actions.

Produce clear, accurate technical reports and compliance documentation.

Key skills & experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related subject, or equivalent industry experience.

Experience assessing electrical or electronic products against CE legislation and relevant standards.

Understanding of electrical products and global compliance regulations.

Experience working with NRTL certification bodies is advantageous.

Knowledge of the Machinery Directive and Low Voltage Directive is beneficial.

Strong technical report writing and Microsoft Word skills.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve non-compliances.
