Are you an experienced Contract Technical Customer Support & Repairs Technician with a background in Electronics and Defence? We are offering a potential long-term opportunity (8 Month initial term) to support a Berkshire-based customer in delivering critical support and repair activities on advanced electronic systems. This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
You will work alongside a multi-disciplined engineering team supporting sophisticated electronic products used within defence and industrial environments. This role is perfect for a hands-on and proactive technician who can fault find to component level, support customers directly, and ensure products are repaired, tested, and returned efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Key Skills required:
- Proven experience in electronics test, repair, and fault finding to component level
- Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal analysis tools
- Experience providing technical/customer support within an engineering environment
- Experience of working in the defence or aerospace industry is highly desirable
