The Redline Group is working in partnership with a specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation in Ashby de la Zouch, to support their search for a Contract Electronics Engineer to work on the development and ongoing support of their embedded product range. This is a contract assignment requiring an ASAP start, based at their Ashby de la Zouch site, supporting an established engineering team across product development and NPI activity.
Our client designs and manufactures electronic display and control systems used within regulated environments, where reliability, traceability and compliance are critical. The successful contractor will be responsible for circuit design, PCB development, and full lifecycle engineering support, working across design reviews, documentation, testing and production support to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions.
Key Skills Required - Contract Electronics Engineer:- Strong experience in analogue and digital electronics design
- Proven background in PCB design and schematic capture, ideally using PADS or ORCAD
- Experience developing embedded systems, ideally with knowledge of interfaces such as I2C, SPI, audio/video (LVDS/HDMI)
- Design and develop analogue and digital circuits, including microprocessor-based systems (ARM/x86)
- Experience as a technical lead/project owner, coordinating activity across teams and driving projects stay on track and delivered on time
This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
