Would you like the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the successful completion and handover of a major industrial process plant project, working for a global leader in bespoke machinery and process equipment manufacturing? The Redline Group is seeking a highly motivated Contract Completion Engineer to join our East Yorkshire-based client on a full-time basis, supporting the final stages of a large-scale fertiliser production facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of the project team, ensuring systems are completed, documented, and handed over efficiently to support commissioning and operational readiness.

As the Contract Completion Engineer, you will be responsible for managing construction completion activities across multiple systems and sub-systems. This will include:

  • Preparing completion documentation packs
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary walkdowns
  • Generating Construction Completion Check Records (CCCRs)
  • Tracking punch-list items
  • Supporting the transition from construction through mechanical completion and into commissioning

Key responsibilities for the Contract Completion Engineer, East Yorkshire:

  • Preparation and management of Construction Completion Check Records (CCCRs)
  • Compilation of system and sub-system completion packs and handover dossiers
  • Coordination of walkdowns with Construction, QA/QC, Commissioning and Client teams
  • Management of punch lists, deficiency registers and completion trackers
  • Supporting Mechanical Completion certification and project handover activities
  • Reviewing and interpreting engineering documentation including P&IDs, Isometrics, GA Drawings, Vendor Documentation and ITPs
  • Tracking system readiness and reporting completion progress against project schedules

Key skills required - Completion Engineer, East Yorkshire:

  • Previous experience within Completion Engineering, Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, QA/QC or Project Handover activities
  • Experience working on industrial process plants, chemical, petrochemical, fertiliser, power generation or similar heavy engineering projects
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong document control and completion dossier experience
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills across multidisciplinary project teams
  • Familiarity with completion systems, punch-list management and handover processes
