Our client, a growing independent electronic/electronic component distributor, are looking for a Internal Sales Representative to join their team in Southampton on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on sales role focused on developing new and existing customer accounts, achieving sales and margin targets and supporting the wider branch operation. Key responsibilities of the Internal Sales Representative job in Southampton: Develop new and existing customer accounts to achieve sales and gross margin targets Build strong, long-term customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service Produce and follow up quotations, converting opportunities into sales Promote electrical products, strategic suppliers and company initiatives Work closely with purchasing and warehouse teams to meet customer requirements Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records across CRM and ERP systems Contribute to branch growth, profitability and overall team performance Support the day-to-day running of the branch and assist colleagues where required Experience required for the Internal Sales Representative job in Southampton: Significant experience in a sales/account management role within the electrical industry Strong knowledge of electrical products and the relevant market Proven track record of developing customer accounts and delivering sales targets Excellent customer service, communication and relationship-building skills Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the competitive landscape Confident CRM user with good Excel and Microsoft Office skills Excellent time management, organisation and reporting skills Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to support a busy branch environment Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities effectively If this Internal Sales Representative job in Southampton could be of interest, please send your CV to (url removed) or call Be on (phone number removed)
