Our client, a well-established electronics manufacturing and solutions provider, are looking for an Internal Sales Executive in Basingstoke to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an office-based role with some hybrid flexibility (1 day from home), supporting customer engagement and internal sales operations within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process customer sales orders accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Prepare and follow up on customer quotations using CRM systems.
  • Raise invoices and support order fulfilment processes.
  • Maintain CRM systems and internal filing systems.
  • Support external Account Managers and liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Generate and qualify new leads using databases, web research, and LinkedIn.
  • Assist with general office duties including telephony and administrative support.

Experience required:

  • Previous experience in an internal sales or account management role.
  • Experience using ERP systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
  • Experience working within an electronics manufacturing or components environment is advantageous.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong team-working capability.
