An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PCB Design Engineer with a leading Specialist Contract Electronic Manufacturer (CEM) with established customer partnerships in a range of industry sectors. This is a largely remote based role, the PCB Design Engineer will be responsible for the development of PCB designs for both new and existing products for a variety of major OEMs covering market sectors including Automotive, Clean Energy, Communication & Broadcasting, Consumer, Defence & Aerospace, Homeland Security, IP Development Platforms, Medical, Scientific Research & Space.
The successful PCB Design Engineer will have designed products for manufacture, be accustomed to working to deadlines, and be able to communicate with customers effectively. You will have a proven background in creating PCB designs / Schematics across a wide range of industries. You will have experience of designing with high-speed digital design, analogue or complex circuits, including fine pitch components (BGA) and high pin count devices.
Along with this, the successful applicant will be familiar with PCB fabrication and assembly processes with supporting knowledge of Design for Manufacture & Test.
